Practice for Protection & Coordination of Industrial and Commercial
Power Systems (Buff Book); Std 241-Recommended Practice for Electrical
Power Systems in Commercial Buildings (Gray Book); Std 399- Recommended
Practice for Industrial and Commercial Power Systems Analysis (Brown Book).
He authored a chapter in Std 1015-1997, Recommended
Practice for Applying Low voltage Circuit Breakers used in Industrial and
Commercial Power Systems (Blue Book). He also contributed to Std 902-1998 Application Guide for Maintenance, Operation, and Safety of Industrial and Commercial Power Systems (Yellow Book)..
National Academy of Forensic Engineers (NAFE)
Accepted as a member in June, 1996 in this professional organization
formed to advance the art and skill of engineers who serve as engineering
consultants to members of the legal profession and as expert witnesses
in courts of law, arbitration proceedings and administrative adjudication
proceedings.
Forensic Consultants Association- Orange County (FCAOC)
Was one of the founders of this group organized on July 9, 1993 by
the Orange County Local IEEE Consultant's Network. Became the first
Treasurer when incorporated for all consultants to the legal profession,
and membership consists of engineers, accountants, medical doctors, investigators,
and construction experts. The monthly meetings feature talks by attorneys,
judges, and other specialties on economics and court behavior.
National Fire Protection Association (NFPA)
After passing the professional engineering examination, was licensed
in 1985 to practice Fire Protection Engineering in California, I joined
the NFPA and SFPE. My work in nuclear power plant fire protection
was good preparation. The NFPA standards on electrical codes, safety,
and maintenance are excellent sources.
